I found Pam’s sessions very useful for cultural intelligence. Pamela Murphy and I have just returned from a very successful trip to China. It was lovely to have Pamela accompany me as there is so much to do and many people to talk to while on a business trip.

The purpose of this trip was to visit our distributor/importer in China and have meetings and dinners with the Food & Beverage and Hotel managers where our wines are stocked.

We also promoted our brand at Interwine 2017 and facilitated wine education and training with the importer’s staff.  I conducted a Barossa Valley Masterclass where our wines were tasted and promoted.

Pamela Murphy was fantastic.

Her knowledge of the Chinese culture and her Cantonese language was invaluable in understanding cultural practices and conversations in that context. Pamela was also able to spend time when I was busy, to chat with potential importers from other areas and engage with people interested in our wine.
